Michele Libraro
President and Co-Founder
Michele, before founding Proxy S.r.l. with his brother Rosario, was most recently Director of Market Development for Service Providers at Cisco Systems’ Headquarters in San Jose, California. Responsible for the identification of key new markets and the development of strategies to integrate new technologies into Cisco’s current portfolio, Michele worked closely with the worldwide marketing and sales force.
Previous positions include General Manager for service provider business in Italy and Central Europe, and Marketing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Cisco in 1996, Michele was Director of Southern European Operations for StrataCom Inc. With over twenty-nine years of telecoms experience in the most important companies operating in this area, Michele has developed and successfully executed numerous product, marketing, sales and operational business plans.
Michele is also a proven entrepreneur that brought to success several startups.
Michele received his degree from the University of Naples.
Rosario Libraro
Co-Founder and CEO
Mr Rosario Libraro is Co-Founder and CEO of Proxy S.r.l., an IT Service Company that delivers professional services to major Service Providers and large enterprises. Specifically, the Proxy team delivers Network Management Services for the client’s telecommunication infrastructure. As CEO, Rosario has achieved the highest revenue run rate and largest number of customers in company history.
Prior to becoming CEO, Rosario was General Manager and Technical Manager of Proxy. In this position, he was responsible for system and network management and network and software upgrades. Rosario also previously headed the Proxy’s sales force.
With twenty years of technical experience, thirteen years experience in telecommunications, and with a deep knowledge of the European market, Rosario is a proven leader. Under Rosario’s guidance, Proxy has become a leader in its business area and a reliable partner for important companies operating in the IT area.
Raffaele Libraro
Marketing Director
Raffaele Libraro has been working in the Information & Telecommunication Technology for 25 years. Raffaele has a deep knowledge of the Telco and Enterprise area, area in which he worked facing and solving different problems in different environments.
Raffaele worked for Ing.C.Olivetti & C. S.p.a. for 18 years, most recently he was senior manager of Ernst&Young S.p.a. and then CapGemini Italia where he was responsible for NIS Network Infrastructure Solution. He had responsabilities for the product management, promotion and sales, relationships with the most important commercial partners and deployment.
Roberto Lucarelli
Chief Engineer
Roberto Lucarelli is Chief Engineer of Proxy S.r.l. since 2001. Proxy is a Service Management Company that operates in the IT area providing professional services and ICT solutions. Roberto and Proxy’s technical team thought and realized innovative solutions for the most important Service Providers and for very important companies operating in the Italian and International Market. Particularly, in the last years, Roberto with Proxy had success in the Italian Market introducing the solutions netForensics, P-cube (bought by CISCO in 2004) and Proxy Traffic Manager.
Roberto works closely with the marketing force in order to identificate new solutions coming from the Silicon Valley. Solutions that could be successfully introduced in the Italian Telco and Enterprise Market.
Prior to being Chief Engineer, Roberto designed and realized complex networks with CISCO’s technology beside the most important Service Providers and important Italian companies.
Roberto received his degree from the University of Milan.
